Québec, le 20 avril 2016 – Lévis residents will now be able to enjoy the Blaxton Pub & Grill experience close to home, as the popular resto-bar on Cartier Street now has its twin in the new St-Romuald crossroads! The $2.5-million restaurant, with its modern infrastructure and warm style, is set to become THE new place to have fun and enjoy life on Quebec City’s South Shore!
Owners Antoine Rouleau, Peter Sgobba and Norman McKinley have decided to entrust their new baby to Pierre Mayville and Manon Martin, respectively the new manager of Blaxton Pub & Grill. More than 80 employees will make up the new establishment’s team, including chef Frédéric Royer and his brigade of over 15 cooks, ready more than ever to prepare 2,000 meals a week!
“The arrival of Blaxton Pub & Grill in Lévis is an exciting addition to the growing Carrefour Saint-Romuald business district. I salute the boldness of the business people who initiated this project. The exceptional traffic at this new establishment bears witness to the dynamism of this strategic sector located near the bridges,” declared Lévis Mayor Gilles Lehouillier.
The 10,000-square-foot premises of this second establishment will accommodate up to 560 people indoors, then the terrace will allow, on sunny days, to add 100 seats in a 1,300-square-foot space with two magnificent fireplaces. DJs will be on hand Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays to liven up happy hours and keep guests dancing until the wee hours of the morning! Patrick Laperrière, head DJ at Blaxton Lévis, and his team of six DJs will be doing their utmost to satisfy the craving of party-goers from Quebec City’s South Shore who have come to enjoy themselves at Blaxton Pub & Grill, whose entire sound system is designed by Bruno B and Solotech.
FESTIVE OPENING WEEK
To celebrate this spring opening, the Blaxton Pub & Grill team is taking advantage of its official opening week to organize THREE evenings of festivities that will allow you to discover Blaxton at its best! THE official opening party will take place on Wednesday, April 27, in the form of a 5@7… that’s sure to go on all night long! Several Blaxton suppliers, including Brasserie Les 2 Frères, Farnham Microbreweries, Goose Island, Brasseurs RJ and Corby Wines, will be on hand to offer tastings of their products.
On Friday, April 29, nightlife fans will be invited to the Blaxton’s nightlife launch for the Red Bull opening party, with DJ Adam Doubleyou on the dance floor from 10pm to 3am. Finally, on Saturday April 30, the Blaxton presents the return of Bruno B and DJ Cactus: energy and frenzy guaranteed on the dance floor until the wee hours!
