OBJECT – OPENING OF A BLAXTON AT THE VIDEOTRON CENTER
Quebec, April 25, 2023 – The Videotron Center and the Blaxton restaurant chain are proud to announce the opening of a brand new restaurant in the amphitheater, in association with restaurateurs Charles Lacroix, Steve Leroux and Bassem Oueslati. While construction is scheduled to start in 2023, the official opening of this restaurant worthy of North America’s great arenas will take place in 2024.
With an investment of over two million dollars, the Blaxton Centre Vidéotron will seat over 300 people and be open to the general public seven days a week. Located directly in the amphitheatre’s lobby, this true stadium restaurant will enhance the customer experience at the Centre Videotron.
“We’re going to offer our customers a 360° culinary, sporting and musical experience,” promises Blaxton Centre Vidéotron managing partner Steve Leroux. The restaurant will be open to everyone at all times, thanks to our independent door,” adds Charles Lacroix. Center Videotron customers will now have a different dining option.
Martin Tremblay, Chief Operating Officer of Québecor’s Sports and Entertainment Group, comments: “We’re delighted to be able to offer this new quality dining experience at the Centre Vidéotron. Whether they’re coming to a show or a Remparts game, our customers will be able to stretch their stay with us. In addition to greatly enhancing their experience, I sincerely believe that this new player will energize the ExpoCité site, and citizens will be able to enjoy it year-round!”
Following the resounding success of Blaxton Lebourgneuf and Blaxton Aeroport de Quebec, this will be the third Blaxton restaurant for Messrs. Lacroix, Leroux and Oueslati. Blaxton Pub&Grill chain founders Peter Sgobba and Antoine Rouleau will join Videotron Center team Lacroix, Leroux and Oueslati in opening the new restaurant, scheduled for march 2024. This will be the fifth Blaxton restaurant in the Quebec City area.
